Our Story

A Legacy of Comfort and Hospitality

The Noble Motel, which was originally founded in the early 1900s under the name Forest Echo Motel & Fishing Lodge, has a rich history as a peaceful fishing retreat nestled along the picturesque shores of Moore Lake in the Haliburton Highlands.

Under new ownership, it was revitalized and returned to its place as a central gathering point on Moore Lake — complete with a lake-view dining room and lively karaoke nights. Today, The Noble Motel blends its historic charm with modern comforts, welcoming family reunions, group getaways, and retreats alike.

During our summer season, the (6) rooms and the Lodge are available as a rental 'Package' plan with a one week minimum stay.

Off Season

September – June

In addition to the weekly 'Package' offering, single or multiple room rentals are available.
  • 2 night minimum on weekends
  • Lodge access is available for smaller groups or shorter stays for an additional fee.
